A young sweet black woman from Belgium wrote to me in desperation asking for advice on how she could treat Hirsutism (excessive hair growth). She was very sweet and her distress in her email struck a cord with me, so I made this video for her, and for any of you sharing the same concern. I sincerely hope this video is helpful to you. Today’s help with skin care segment is courtesy of Laser Hair Removal Miami, LLC by Bay Harbour Med Spa (located between Bay Harbor and Sunny Isles). I am answering a question specifically for lovely young lady who wrote to me and mentioned she was black, depressed, has PCOS and hyperpigmentation.
Her question was as follows: ” Hi Eva , First I want to tell you that I really love your YouTube channel & I appreciate all the great tips and advice you give. I wrote a comment before on your PCOS laser hair removalvideo because I was recently diagnosed with PCOS. I did laser a couple of years ago and it stimulated ALOT of facial hair. Due to all the hair I now have, it has caused me to have a tremendous amount of ingrown scars all over my chin. I can’t even go outside with having to put makeup on my chin. I currently started electrolysis and I know I will have to deal with the effects of it all especially because my facial hairs are so close together. So my question to you is, although the hair bothers me, I’m more self conscious about the dark spots. Do you have any suggestions of what ingrown products or treatment I can use to help lighten and exfoliate my skin? I also attached pic of my chin so you can see the damage. Also I’m also going to go on meds soon to help lower my testosterone level so I wont have any more hair growth. I really look forward to hearing from you. ” I hope my answer helps both this lovely young lady, and any of you experiencing the same thing. Please feel free to ask me a question (or leave a helpful comment) below in the comment section. I sincerely hope you find this video blog to be informative.
