What a tremendously informative information you have on PCOS and your blog. I want to have laser hair removal treatments, but I don’t live in Miami, do you have any recommendations for a PCOS specialist in laser hair removal in Atlanta, GA?

    Thanks,
    Anika

    P.S. Love your blog too!

Thank you for writing. We are glad to find that our information is useful to you. Please note, PCOS is becoming more and more talked about. It has been a prevalent problem for years, but is only now getting the attention it deserves. Funny thing you ask about Atlanta and PCOS. From personal experience, we suggest you go see Dr. Sinervo (he’s in Atlanta), before you seek any type of laser hair removal treatments.

You need to address what is going on hormonally, before you treat it cosmetically. You see, if you treat the hair with laser, but the underline hormonal issues are not dealt with, than you are wasting your money!

Go see Sinervo first, ask them to recommend someone for laser in your local town. Most times, our first time clients who come in, who have all the symptoms of PCOS, well, we simply do not treat them until they see a physician first. We suggest a battery of blood work we know about as well as give suggestions as to what to ask the physician to look for to properly diagnose PCOS.

Hope this helps as a starting point. Please visit our Laser Hair Removal Miami Blog, subscribe to it, as we update it weekly. We plan on concentrating much of our efforts on PCOS and endometriosis.

      Good luck,

The Team @ Laser Hair Removal Miami
