Genital Laser Hair Removal

At Laser Hair Removal Miami ™,  we’re often asked if laser hair removal is a suitable method for permanent hair reduction of the male genitalia (to include the shaft of the penis or testicles).

Over the last few years, we’ve noticed a trend amongst men (either heterosexual or homosexual) who seek anal or genital laser hair removal treatments. Hair growth in these regions are common to males, however because the hair is coarse and tends to be curly many men experience ingrown hair issues, or for simpler reasons prefer to be clean of hair in these regions. Genital laser hair removal is treated in the same way as other areas.  We take great measures to ensure that your treatment will be as painless as possible.

Why is laser hair removal the ideal treatment of genital hair reduction?

Laser hair removal is a permanent laser hair reduction solution as opposed to its counterparts- shaving, waxing or depilatory methods.

Furthermore, laser hair removal is a controlled treatment, approved by the FDA, and if utilizing the CoolGlide ™ technology (which Laser Hair Removal Miami ™  does) men of all skin colors are safe candidates. African-American men, particularly, suffer from ingrown hairs, so laser hair removal is the ideal treatment.

Laser hair removal requires multiples sessions, spaced out over four to six weeks. If you undergo genital laser hair removal treatments, you will not have to worry about unsightly or bothersome ingrown hairs again!

What is the pain factor, if any?

Because the male genitalia is such a sensitive area, laser hair removal does cause some degree of discomfort. However, Laser Hair Removal Miami ™  has its own unique numbing method which decreases discomfort associated with laser hair removal.

What does the treatment feel like?

It may feel like an elastic band flicking your skin.  In summary, laser hair removal is the ideal treatment for the permanent hair reduction of the genital area/s because it yields permanent results with the efficiency that waxing, shaving or electrolysis do not. We take proper measures to maintain modesty throughout our genital or anal laser treatments.

Is it normal for a male to get an irrection and a little big of ejaculation when receiving the treatment?
and what method you use for noming the area?

      Hi, Cary-

Yes, it is perfectly normal to get an erection. This is not a sexual thing, but rather a physiological response. For this very reason, we take extra precaution to make genital laser hair removal as least embarassing as possible, both for the client and for ourselves. We maintain as much modesty as possible during the treatment. We typically use a specialized mold of ice to numb the area (this too helps with keeping the penis from becoming erect). This type of laser hair removal treatment takes more time because of the numbing aspect as well as maintaining modesty and professional integrity at all times.

Is it harmful for a male to receive laser hair removal on his testicular area? I am a young male and one day I am interested in having children, therefore I am concerned weather or not I should go ahead and do the procedure or wait until I am done having children.
